1) At the end of 2010 the PS3's capabilities will be similar to what the Wii's capabilities were at the end of 2006 (when it launched).

2) Doesn't the Wii have far more downloadable games than the PS3?

3) It may be annoying to have to replace batteries for your controller, but it is equally annoying to have to wait hours to play a game because your controller battery has no charge ... On top of that, modern batteries have a life-span associated with them and replacing all your controllers every 3 to 4 years is pretty annoying too.

4) Probably will happen in the next generation anyways, when adding a Blu-Ray drive is as inexpensive as adding a DVD drive was in the current generation of consoles.

5) Not a bad idea, but I think videogame consoles should focus on adding features which improve videogames

6) Wouldn't this be something Nintendo and Microsoft copied from Microsoft? Beyond that hard-drives are amazingly expensive devices which don't see much in the way of cost reductions. It makes far more sense for companies to copy Nintendo's approach with the Wii in this generation and include flash memory as a standard being that 100GB+ of flash memory in the next generation will be very inexpensive.

2.  It's not about how many, it's size.

3.  I agree with you on not replacing em, but battery packs are the way to go, and you can play and charge simultaneously.

6.  Are you insane?  Nintendos storage solution is a fucking joke, it's something that drives me insane.  If they all do that next gen, im PC only.

Wii without motion control is horrendously designed, end of story.  No motion, no way I bought one.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.
