If you scroll through my posting history, you'll see that I've probably hyped this game more than anybody else on this forum, yet the entire time all I've said was that this game plays great, looks really great, and has an addicting multiplayer experience. It's just fun. It won't reinvent the wheel. It won't become the best game ever. It won't do anything like that. But it'll be an awesome game.

And then people come in, bitching about overhype and whatnot, saying people will only be disappointed in the end. Yeah, you might be disappointed, only because you interpreted the excitement in an unrealistic way, most likely only so you could later use it as ammo against fans of a console you don't particularly like.

Still, when I tried to make a point about bullshots(those were from killzone 2) you just labeled me troll, because I didn't go with the hype. :)

I just don't get all of this hype around Killzone 2. LBP was going to be HUGE and then it wasn't that huge. Actually it was quite average. Now Killzone 2 IS HUGE, HUGE, HUGE. I don't say that it isn't huge, but if you expect that much from every game it might never be true. For example can you find any Diablo 3 will be HUGE or Starcraft 2 will be HUGE topics? Why not? Well, I am PC player mainly and I wait for those games, but I don't overhype them and I am very critical about them. I think them as a average games atm and will form my opinion when I try them out. Also why so hostile if someone doesn't agree with you and say that Killzone 2 might not be HUGE? (Because Killzone 2 is HUGE no matter what?.. Uh oh...)

I think the lack of hype for PC games comes from the fact that both MS and many PC developers want to herd PC gammers onto the good ship 360. The developers want to kill piracy and MS wants to keep everyone locked in to directx while they still can.

Also you listed 2 Blizzard games. As everyone knows Blizzard games are impossible to hype as noone ever knows when they are actually comming out; only that they will be very, very late.
