Well even if you believe the odds aren't pretty (I don't believe in odds, I just think I got the right guy), there's still a chance that it'll work, and I won't pass up that chance. I grab it and will make it work. When you see an opportunity in life (whatever it is), even if the chances are small, you have to take it, because you never know, it could work. ;) Pass it up and someone else will get it.

Well you got me there on the "odds" thing. Men tend to think with "logic" and I'm no exception. However, by your definition of "love", you shouldn't have to "make it work", it should work automatically. It's starting to sound like the compromise  I spoke of before not the "perfect" relationship.
