Xbox360 and PS3 are reducing the scope of what genres can be successful on them and a game like Indy will surelly underperform in sales compared to many big hits of those genres. We don't need to look further than their game: "Fracture" that, sadly, is not performing well and they need profit in order to keep the game studios alive.

Indiana Jones games are less platform rich and action oriented than Tomb Raider and that has not performed as expected now that Lara is more known in gaming than Indiana Jones.

The move to wii was more conservative and the risk for losses are far less. I do not think it will be a huge seller, but Lucast Arts will get profits in sales from all three platforms (Wii+DS+PSP).

What this means is that HD consoles are slowly becoming the not best choice to try new ideas and get a profit from it. The blame should be put on third party developers and publishers that are packing the HD consoles with the known genres and leaving less space for new ideas.
