Age of Conan was a disappointment. Funcom had the chance to make huge money but they made the biggest mistake possible on an MMO: released it unfinished - subscriptions based games get their healthy number of costumers through the quality of the product... so if the MMO isn't up to par, they will lose potential and fanbase.

Ofcourse I think AoC still made money - they shipped 1.1 millions copies on retail + whatever they sold through digital distribution + subscribers that are still hanging around. The game's budget was $20 millions, so it's all good.
