Appendix. (Organ in the Human body)

I believe it is an organ that used to be used part the body's immune system, but through evolution, its become a vestigial organ (or at least it is not really needed). In fact, some people die now because their appendix becomes infected. My cousin got it infected, and he had to get it removed.
