Applications are the highest they've ever been this year because of the economy and how cheap VT tuition is. I haven't met anyone who I thought was crazy, but people crack. But there's always some crazy shit happening it seems. There was that guy in August 2006 who was out killing cops on campus and they cancelled the first day of classes, then the bomb threats, and 4/16, and then this. And last year someone shot a shotgun at the star football player's apartment last year. I still don't feel unsafe though other than two of those occasions. (scared shitless obviously) Those things aside, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else for college; the Burg is an awesome place.
