Age of Conan closes more than half of their server!!!

They made Anarchy online (which failed pretty miserably) as well (a few years ago).

 

 

How did Anarchy Online fail?  It was a moderate hit when released despite technical issues, had major hit expansion packs, the Shadowlands one especially, had multiple expansions after that, and 7 years later it is still going strong.

 

It is very soon getting a grpahics overhaul and being updated with new visuals too.

 

Hardly a fail.

 

(Yeah I play it and will defend it to no end).

 

 Funcom lost a ton of money on it.

Didn't they make it free to play for 3 months as well, just to save it from going under?

Personally, I liked the game.

 

The main point is though - it was a crisis financially.
