So an RTS, a JRPG, and a downloadable content pack, versus...quite possibly the most hyped PS3 game to date? Star Ocean 4 would be lucky to hit a million, and calling the DLC pack a game or anything close to it is pathetic. It's not like either would be in competition with Killzone 2 anyways even if they were significant. Halo Wars could be a decent threat, but Sony had much more deadly titles in holiday season '08 and they fell flat on their faces. And Microsoft comes around with their niche games and they think they're a threat to Killzone 2?

I remeber all the PS3 fanboys keep saying all the 360 has is FPS. Now the system has diversity and you call them niche titles. Haha, you are funny man. Wll, guess what? KZ2 is a FPS...

Umm, it doesn't matter. The 360 has always had diversity just like any other system, even from its launch. Just because the titles are diversified doesn't mean they're popular or are going to be popular. Shooters, Racers, and Platformers are big genres. RTSs, JRPGs, and random downloadable content packs that aren't actually games are not. You're funny. Killzone 2 is an FPS, I'm glad you're able to recognize genres. I suppose you should get a cookie, considering your kinds words as well.

P.S. Whatever happened to Ninja Blade? Is that no longer a threatening title now that everyone knows it will be average?

Ninja Blade is a mid-march title, its too far away from KZ2. GTA:LAD is a 10 hour expansion.

If you can play it, its a game. SImple as that. The fact that you think its not a game is laughable. And its packing the GTA name, and thats a BIG name, far bigger then the name Killzone.

I'm aware of when Ninja Blade is coming out, but I remember it being used as a killer title. Maybe it was just for the beginning of the year and not to compete against Killzone 2. And it's "laughable" that I don't think Lost and Damned is a game? Should I consider the map packs for Halo, Call of Duty, or Gears of War games now? After all, I can play them. They're downloadable content. Thus, they must be games. Yet I don't remember people marking the release dates for the Legendary map packs as some sort of threat against the PS3.

Now I agree with you that GTAIV expansion won't do anything to Killzone's sales but saying its like a map pack is just stupid. Its like saying that Wrath of the Lich king isn't a game either.

That's...not...what...I...said. It's pretty nerve-wracking to have to argue with several people at once when they don't even give good arguments. I was arguing that by his criteria, even something as simple as a map pack could be considered a game.
