4chan is not how it used to be. The continual popularisation of it by people has led to a decline in what made it so great. You also get these newfags who think they are part of some elite hacker organisation by going on /b/.
Take my school as an example of the increased popularity. Practically all of the years below me (7-10) spend their whole day making motivational posters and lolcat images, which aren't even funny. It pisses me off because they don't know what the hell they are doing and where it came from.
Now it is just full of cancer threads. Bring back snacks.
