Who said the ps3 was superior now? For some, familiarity>>>everything else. The PS brand staying the same has helped the ps3 sell under the most dire conditions. Having a ps3 and 360 is as redundant as it gets because you'd most likely use one a LOT more than the other if they're bought primarily to play games.
It's nothing to do with hating M$. I have a PC and wouldn't buy a mac if someone put a gun to my head. You sure try to make it sound like M$ is a charity organization giving people things for free. The 360 experience I'd want is more or less as expensive as the ps3 and probably more after a few years.
