Here lots of lawmakers are already rich, so its a drop in the bucket for some of them.

 

If you don't need it, donate it to charity. Otherwise they'd be pressured to forgo their salary, and that's what drives people into asking for bribes. Take a certain Gov from Obama's state for example.......
