I get what he's saying. He's talking about the defining title, and that hasn't been released for PS3 yet. Whether that has any significance I won't get into, but it's obvious Sony hasn't gotten it yet. There are still two multiplatform titles sitting atop the PS3 charts that can be acquired on other consoles. The 360 is defined by Halo and the sales and public reception reflect that. The same can be said of the Wii and Wii Sports. The PS3 right now is reflected by a lot of titles getting good sales but no standout title, and COD4 and GTAIV sitting on top shows what the consumers on PS3 are interested in. Basically at the moment, the PS3 is the equivalent of a 360 without Halo 3.
In a nutshell, PS3 needs Gran Turismo 5. It's always been the defining title on the playstation brand.
