Really leo.....Alan wake and Alone in the dark and gears of war 2 for shooters, not to mention Halo Wars. Fable 2 and Too Human for Rpg's (too human looks AMAZING and could also count as action/adventure). Fable 2, (lost odyssey if its late) and cry on. Hmmmm am i forgetting anything, oh yeah...platformers. BANJO!!!!!
The ps3 has FFXIII (maybe, it could be 2009) and MGS4 (which is looking like it'll hit 360). They also have white knight story (which does look good) and K2. K2 wont be an asset unless it PLAYS better than the first, which at this point is looking like a stretch.
So perhaps an increase in japanese games will help the ps3 next year, but winning all of them i ask you?
