"Folklore, or FolksSoul in Japan (formerly Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realms, Unknown Realms) is a video game exclusively for the PlayStation 3 announced at E3 2006 which is told to be "The next generation of dark fantasy." The game is a real time action adventure game with RPG elements, in the same vein as Genji and Devil May Cry. The game stars a young blonde girl named Ellen, and a journalist named Keats. Together they must fight the monsters known as the "Folk" and weaken and capture their souls." Taken from Wikipedia page on Folklore. |
Mitsuhide, did you read the article that you just quoted? Because going from your definition of it containing RPG elements, then are you honestly saying Genji and DMC are classified as RPGs??? I would find it very hard for anyone to argue those points. So if those aren't RPGs, then neither will Folklore.
Again, these are american release dates so stop trying to add games that are not released in the Fall in the US. Also I'm guessing they're not including handheld rpg's on here, in which case I would imagine the DS overshadowing everything.
