For argument's sake if Sony did stop producing PS3's they'd still sell software for it and then for the 360 as well which would automatically double all their software sales and dramatically increase profitability. Sure the PS3 wouldn't recoop it's losses that way but Sony definately would and without having to lose an additional cent.
