Yeah not so much, unfortunately. When budgets have top be scaled back, they take out music and art and anything that isn't state tested. NY is a big culprit of this tactic. Ive worked in a few high schools that WERE like what you said, but they were so deep in the inner city, it was hard for the kids to learn among the gang violence. Its sad, but true. At least you got a quality education then |
That's really depressing to hear.
