Begged for a Vectrex after seeing Minestorm.
Traded for an IntelliVision because of Dungeons & Dragons (Cloudy Mountain).
Bought the 3DO because of Road Rash.
Bought a 486 for Doom.
Bought the N64 for Ocarina of Time.
Bought the PS2 at launch after seeing Madden 2001.
Bought the Wii for Twilight Princess.
Bought the DS for Diamond / Pearl.
I could go on ... so yeah, I've owned virtually every single system at one point or another because of ONE game I had to play.
