360 still outsold the PS3 in July in the North American territory after PS3's 100US price cut. 360 didn't cut their price until August and we haven't seen the numbers for that month yet.
And in the EU, Xbox sold more this last month of numbers without the price drop, but hadn't managed it before. It's likely the warranty upgrade was responsible for the upswing.
