I'm 24 and I would be mocked horribly if I got involved with a 17 year old. I was 22 and had a brief thing with a 17 year old, and I was still embarrassed then. Mind you if you are still talking about your teacher most laws specifically say that while its OK for you to have sex with an adult they *can't* be someone working in your school system.
