IMO, I agree with others saying the EU was the most effected region with the hardware issues, moreso than any other place.
However, I believe that with the price drop + promise of better quality and warranty, it's starting to trend more in MS's favor.
I would never of thought that MS could ever trump Sony in "others", but it might end up putting up quite a fight for a few years there.
IMO, the X360, with it's title lineup, should best the PS3 for the rest of the year in overall sales due to strength of title lineup, price, and lack of the 2 benefits for the PS3. However, I do fully expect the PS3 to overtake the X360 in Europe and such next year, and stay that way.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
