Something serious, let's talk hair (in general)!

Since the beginning of my new college term, I've been looking for ways to differentiate myself from a bunch of other guys around me (yeah, kind of looking for attention, sadly...). For some reason, people always seem to see me as the "serious" type of guy, and I was thinking about changing this image once and for all and to really represent my personality a bit more (by the way, I think I wear nice clothes). I think it's been working so far, not trying to go overboard. So... I'm sure you guys have created your own styles too. It would be funny to know what you guys/girls do about all this hair we have on different parts of our body!

For my hairstyle, I currently have a "curly" afro, kind of like this! My parents think I look silly. They want me to cut my hair, but they know I always had long curly hair and that I look silly when it's short anyways! I used to brush my hair before, but now I just keep it normal right after the shower. I'm still deciding if I want to keep it like this, or return to the normal style... I don't know, I think this represents my "I don't care what other people think of me" personality (well actually, I do care, but I mean if people insult me, I won't go emo and stuff). Also, with this kind of hair, I can wear my "rasta beanie," which I love by the way! =P

Other than that, I have a normal beard, I guess. I think people call it the "curtain chin?" Anyways, for a long time, I've been thinking about doing something a little different: try to shave it in different places so it makes some little triangles. Actually, that's what I'm talking about. It could be funny (or hot, I don't know), and I might just do it if someone forces me to!

Hmmm... I'm also not the type of guy that shaves every little spot of hair I have on my body, like the chest and other "secret places!" I would do it if, for example, a girl (one day) asks me to... but then again, I don't want to lose my masculinity! o_O

So, do I sound silly looking, or is there hope of doing something else here? What about you guys? Do anything special with your hair/beard? Do you care about it at all? I know some members here have some furious hairstyles (Fazz for example), and steven787 and RubangB have fine beards!
