I seriously ask is there an employee handbook at Sony titled how to get yourself trapped between a rock and a hard place. There are only two real trains of thought. The first is that he is blatantly lying to not only white wash incompetence, but to spin that incompetence into a sales pitch to consumers. The second is that he is truly this deluded. Not only does he think this is a good thing, but he also thinks it was truly intentional rather then a bad decision.
Take your pick a filthy liar who has no respect for the intelligence of consumers, or a company that is half witted on its best day. Hey either way your fucked seven ways from Sunday. Either the future of your console is in the hands of morons who will derail it through stupidity, or you have to take the word of a terrible liar. In which case you cannot have any hope. You can't build your expectations on lies.
I feel awful for the Sony Defense Forces, because the brilliance of this comment has done what the other console fanatics have tried to do for the past few months. It pins them right to the floor. Either Sony are bad liars, or Sony have openly admitted to sabotaging their console. Just watch this comment is going to be a finishing move. What is with Sony handing out ammo to their executioners.
