I know some posters are going to throw a conniption fit over these comments. Sadly it will be unjustified sure he responded to the insults flung at Microsoft by Sony, but he basically brought out the kid gloves. He could have laid out Kaz, but instead of saying deluded he opted for self satisfied. The claims about industry leadership almost screamed for the bitch smack. Bottom line he made the case without being a belittling bastard such as Kaz.
Speaking to the original posters opinion. Sony doesn't just have issues with the price of their hardware. The library is also a considerable issue for Sony. Just as badly in need of money as hardware cost cutting. The focus on one at the peril of another is truly dangerous. It will do Sony no good to get to price parity with Microsoft if that statement is followed by Microsoft has a far superior library, and even the first party efforts of Sony offer little relief, because even their first party cannot cover the genre spread. So a good deal of something could be missing.
