My friend and I got ours on launch day too. He just told them that he had "recently" bought smash bros brawl and that his wii wasn't reading the disc right, thats it. (his wii would'nt go past the menu screen without freezing) they set up the repair, sent him a box. all you really have to do is pakage your wii and take it to your nearest UPS store. just remember tell them a friend of yours had the same problem and they "cleaned" his wii for free, it should work. Let me know how things turn out.
