There is nothing special about that monitor. Any monitor will work if it support the fast frame rate. Most good quality modern monitors would. The all you need is the glasses. The glasses do seem a bit pricey as I have seen that type of glasses for as little as $49. The infrared transmitter shouldn't be that much so I suspect that Nvidia is pocketing a nice profit, besides getting to sell another expensive GPU.
