| CMoney said: APPLE'S hyped iPHONE has a 9-11% failure rate within 2 years and 6% in the first year. Blackberry phones have 12% failure rate within 1 year and 14% after 2 years http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-10092377-94.html Electronics malfunctions are actually quite common. Microsoft is the only company offering a 3 year warranty. Yeah it sucks, but it really isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be |
for cellphones its 2 years now both sony ericsson and nokia offer such warranty via cellphone companies, but not many nokias comes with problems, the n76 did have a peeling issue. and the sony ericsson w580 had a broken key problem but nothing as bad as leaving the phone unsable.
also iphone and blackberry are not nothing in market share... iphone its not even 1% compared to nokia almost 40% marketshare.
