Eh somewhat.
A lot of what America and the rest of the West accomplished Marx saw as impossible except through violent struggle.
Stalin and the rest basically followed his tenants though... with a bit too much personal greed, but that was to be expected and tolerable assuming the goal was successful... which wasn't so long as western nations existed.
It's impossible to know whether Marx would see the revisions made to society as "enough" or whether it would prove to him things could ultimatly be how he wanted without all the crazy stuff.
