Wow... it seems like alot of people on this site as aetheist liberals.
I think religion requires a sense of being connected wieth others, and Obama was drawing on that in his speech. A lot of Atheists I know simply don't feel that connection. (with people; all the aetheists I know have a faith in science and some feel a connection with nature)
