Yoshinori Kitase (Square Enix) - PSP's strong performance caught my eye

 Because Kitase is from Square he sure loves 360 right? And it doesnt matter that all the games he is working on are on Playstation systems. Oh, and since his game is going to sell like 10-15 times more worldwide than the game you mentioned I dont see why he would care about it.

 

And that´s the reason he´s looking on the 2.5m+ sales of MH on PSP in Japan alone and not WKC on PS3. Although he didn´t mention it, the company as a whole is having their eyes peeled on the Wii as well from now on. DQX already confirmed on Wii, Echoes of Time on Wii, DS, more will follow. The confirmation will be the sales of MH Tri this year, very likely to be huge and bigger than the PSP ones.

 

Oh is that so? I think you are going to be in for quite a shock........HUGE ONE actually.
