1st off the game hasn't been released yet so you truly can say anything about how the graphics. we have a good idea from gameplay footage but you can't say that Gears 2 has better graphics than Killzone 2. Also you truly believe that the 360 can handle a game like Killzone. I don't think that the 360 can really handle Uncharted well let along Killzone. Sony isn't lying but you need to open your fanboy eyes. |
Okay saxophonehero, lets have a technical discussion here. What part of Killzone 2 can't the Xbox 360 handle? What element is too much for the Xbox 360 to handle? Do you know? Or are you just regurgitating bias PR from Sony and other Sony related PR? There is only 1 element which the Xbox 360 would struggle with and that is all the texture content. The game would have to either be released on 2 DVDs or the textured re-created using procedural synthesis. However, if you take the manpower, money, and time spent on killzone 2, there is NOTHING preventing it from looking that good on the Xbox 360. Technologically speaking, the Xbox 360 is capable of handling everything killzone 2 has. Don't be a fanboy. If you don't know anything about 3D programming and technologies, don't post such ignorant comments.
The reason why Xbox 360 exclusives don't seem to look as good as Uncharted or Killzone 2 is because the Xbox 360 has nothing to prove. Instead of spending extra time and effort making games look a bit better, the developers decide to get the game out to people as soon as possible. The ONLY reason why Sony spent this much money making Killzone 2 is because they made crazy claims about the PS3 and now they want to prove that it is what they said. The Playstation 3 is not remotely as powerful as Sony wanted and claimed. It is powerful though, a bit more powerful than the Xbox 360, but not by much. Sony claimed the PS3 would be capable of 2 Teraflops of computation power. It is less than 1/4th that.
Good news Everyone!
