Co-op is the entire foundation of the new game. How are you going to say it's unimportant? Taking out the co-op would mean removing the second character, changing the AI patterns, removing parts of the game and completely changing the story. You sure that still qualifies as Resident Evil 5?

Let me guess, you'd take a co-opless Gears of War on Wii also huh?

 

I meant online co-op. Im not a fan and imo its a bad direction for RE to go. Of course Id rather have it go back to its roots. RE4 was great and all but I could never understand why people praise it so much. Basically I dont like the co-op aspect and could care less if they removed it for Wii. I dislike mostly everything about RE5 but I like the series so Id still want it mainly for story.

I never played Gears on co-op either. I passed the campaign single-player.

That's great for you. I beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the arcade single player, but I guesstimate that wasn't the point of the game and it would have been worse off without the option. My point was that this game, RE5 is built around co-op and if they removed every shred of that, you would get a game that is not RE5. Frankly, your whole beef seems to be with the series itself, so I'm going to chalk up your post to misguided anger and ignore it. You are no longer the RE audience obviously.

Also taking out online co-op wouldn't help the Wii out much. Taking out local splitscreen co-op would though and that's a big no-no in lost features for Wii owners.
