I don't have anything against achievement points. I just don't get the point of playing crappy games to get them. I understand they are highly addictive though so maybe that is why people choose to get them anyway they can? Oh well at least most just rent the crappy games or I guess you can buy them used and return them within certain time frame from Gamestop for free.
On the topic, I do think it is pretty cool of Microsoft for providing free good games. I wish Nintendo did something like this but they are banking it too much with the Wii Shop.
