what the hell are you talking about,,,Killzone 2 has been in development for 3 years and 2 months(after the killzone liberation for PSP was mostly done)

 

5 years ago the PS3 dev kits didn't even existed.

 

At the time of E3 2005, Killzone 2 had already been in development for around a year. Although Sony hadn't released the final devkits, their developers were already using early ones and designing their game around the cell processor/working on art/story/plot/etc. So yes, Killzone 2 has been in development for around 5 years.
