This is the first time Nintendo have released a "true" networkable console - and one that can upgrade itself. I think people will be amazed when they see some of the ideas Nintendo has for online.
The Wii is starting to *really* scare me. Firstly - its still selling out, worldwide. Its all about production at the moment.
Then new games are being released out of nowhere. And now (tonights news), Mario Strikers supports online battles - and it will be out in under 2 months (in Europe anyway). Add this to NiGHTS, RE4 remake, Super Paper Mario, Oopooma (sp?), various music games (Disney sing game, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Wii Kareoke) .. Im going to be broke long before Metroid, Galaxy, Smash Bros (etc) will be near release :P
