| vizunary said: that's too bad man... glad you bought it instead of me =p sorry, i'm still gonna rent it though, $6 is worth the pretty cutscenes. i must be a masochist ;) i can take it, LOL BTW, if you're really just gonna use the disc as a coaster, i'll give you $10 plus S&H to send it to me =) no, really, LOL |
Definitely rent the game. There are parts that are a lot of fun and causing havoc with the dragons can induce schoolgirl giggling at points. Lair has its great moments, the big problem lays in the fact that those few great moments are interlaced with fury-driven explitives being thrown at your television because your dragon flipped when it should have charged/charged when it should have flipped/flew into a wall for no reason/overshot an objective without hitting a damned thing/locked onto a target, starting spinning and flew offscreen, completely disorientating you/just.did.something.stupid.
The sad thing is that my friend's first comment (who played the game before me)Â was "hey, you're pretty good at controlling the dragon." I'm not some idiot who can't control the game, I'm just some idiot who is blasting the game for being a pile of shit when it could have been pure gold.
