Just in Warranty then. You can back up absolutely necessary stuff to An external flash stick (iPOD even works), Then Call Sony and get it repaired.

The point of buying a warranty is so you don't have to send it, you can just get a quick replacement.

 

Sorry, i thought it worked different in US and canada
