100% inaccurate. EA is legally bound to uphold any and all contracts negotiated by BioWare. If there was a contract in place, EA will have to uphold it. In fact, EA had to negotiate publishing rights with MS for the PC version of Mass Effect.

It's not as if a company can buy up another company and then ignore said company's debt, leaving all bills unpaid because "they didn't buy those products". This is the same thing.

With that said, I expect ME2 to be multiplatform.

Good luck with that, Pig. I tried the same a couple of posts up and I don't think anyone believes it. The make-believe land of "EA can do whatever it wants" will be the prevailing belief without regard to pre-existing, legally-enforceable contracts.

BUT, as you said, EA is a cash whore. They will milk every IP for everything it is worth. I'm sure they'll find a way to go multi-plat with ME2 and ME3.

I think you're kind of ignroing the fact that BioWare have said themselves that they could make a PS3 version of the game if they wanted too, which means that there aren't any legal roadblocks.

This fact has been quoted several times in this thread already.
