It is a mens mag, it covers all things that appeal to typical blokes, which yes, includes women. There are no nude shoots, and those sections make up very little of the magazine, the magazine also covers fashion, jokes, TV, movies, music, games, sports and plenty of other random 'bloke' stuff.

 

 The main draw of the mag is the hot women in skimpy clothes. The women they shoot also arent models but girls guys fantasize about. The only way guys will get to see hilary duff in those clothes is from maxim. Youre right about them doing jokes though... the articles are them.

 

Their writing actually isn't that bad, though it's hardly stellar. They're good for entertainment articles.

Been a long time since I've read an issue, though. Can't remember if they still post short stories.
