"No. But I was always suspicious that LAIR was going to be a dispointment - watching the movies and so on."
So you didn't make that "wait for more reviews" argument because you knew Lair was going to be a disappointment. But you made the argument for Boogie because you were always suspicious Boogie was going to be a good game, watching the movies and so on? I guess you could have believed that, although it sure seemed like it was vice versa for most people. It had nothing to do with their respective consoles? Okay.
"What exactly are YOU trying to prove here? That LAIR is a good game, and doesn't deserved to be bashed?"
Yes, my point is obviously that Lair is a good game and doesn't deserve to be bashed. I mean, just look at the end (hint: after the "---") of my original comment, when I conclude by stating that Lair is the greatest video game ever made. Brilliant. You got me, I'm just a Sony fanboy. One thing I would certainly never do is point out the hypocrisy of PS3 fans engaging in mental gymnastics to try and justify their future purchase of Lair despite a steady steam of horrible reviews.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
