Well considering Halo 3 will be 2 years old by the time K2 comes out i certainly hope so.
That and Halo is not a game about graphics at all. In fact i've never heard someone online on H3 say, "You know what? I can't enjoy this game cause it doesn't look like K2."
Remember graphics aren't everything
