Adjusted for time inflation. Genesis.

Much better actually as it had every game at the time you wanted to play other than a few Square RPGs, Mario, Zelda and Metroid. Third party support was great on the Genny. N64, not so much.

N64 is a better processor and it had Goldeneye...

You mean, it lacked just about everything I like?

I wouldn't expect any less from someone called "nintendo_fanboy" :)

BTW I played lots of Snes as a kid and I know the Zelda is briliant and Super Metroid is awesome... However, there are genesis games that didn't get as much reckognition that definetly are as good as those games.

Landstalker for example gives Zelda:Link to Past a very good run for its money, yet you've prolly never heard of it.

It probably does if you've got the patience for isometric platforming but its story probably isn't as epic.  Also, Crusader of Centy it's just not Zelda, and Beyond Oasis (Story of Thor, but it suffers from the opposite problem of Landstalker...if you know about that one dungeon you can fall into 100 times and get the super sword the game will loose all sense of challenge.  It is still a nice looking game though and especially for the era when it was made).

Hehe...someone that knows his stuff.

Beyond Oasis was cool but definetly not Zelda material. Great combat and visuals tho...

Landstalker however was brilliant I thought...some of those puzzles like the jail cells in that town totally blew my mind back in the day. I didn't mind the isometric view but it was a pain for jumping thats for sure...
