Not really. Samsung DNIe is better in my opinion.
They are quite similar actually but usually you get higher contrast ratio for less $$ on samsung TVs. Compare the same models side by side...
Also its a toss up which 120 hz stabilizing technology you like more. I preffer the Samsung one by a mile...but some say that it makes movies look like home made videos and they preffer the Sony (or Sharp).
