BD players are getting cheap very fast and marketshare has been increasing alot in the last 3 to 4 months. While not as fast as DVD in software sales, it's definitely showing a pattern of a successful format. Weekly revenues are now about 15%. A few months ago, it was 7%.

As BD players go to $99 and lower, many customers (non-fanboys) replacing their DVD players will opt to get a Blu-ray player since it also plays their entire DVD library and also upconverts.
