Yeah I made this because I felt talking football and I misslead by that "other" thread lol. Tell us about your team.
Anyways I'm a big Jags fan, I like our chances this year, even without Leftwich. Our defence is looking stonger than ever, with our top pass rusher Reggie Heyward and our MLB Mike Peterson coming back from injures. We also hoping that our #1 draft pick Reggie Nelson can give us more playmaking ability in our secondary besides just Mathis. On offence we have the best trio of running backs in the league, Fred Taylor, MJD, and coming back from injury Greg Jones. As far as our QB David Garard, he's solid, mobile, but sometimes can make some really bone headed mistakes. Hopefully he can protect the ball better this year. We have a trio of big recievers, with Reggie Williams being the most physical, he is fearless and an excellent blocker. Ernest Wiford is MR dependable, has the best hands of the three and is a hard worker. Matt Jones is the wildcard, he is the slacker, he will drop an easy pass one play and make an amazing catch the next. We also added speed to wr core with Dennis Northcut, who seems to be making a new start and 7th round pick John Broussard. We lack a true number one reciever, but this is a run first team anyways. As for TEs we dependable pass catching George Whrister and have got back Mercades Lewis from injury who is also a good pass catcher. As for the O-line, our starting center Brad Meester is injured, we also signed Tony Pashos at RT Guard. Our O-Line is excellent at run blocking, but horrid at pass protection, hence the mobile QB.
Our team is physical and nasty, we play with a ball control style offence and if you give us a chance we will run the ball down your throat.
