Umm... No.
Will the PSP beat the DS in the west the same year the DSi releases? No.
The same year China Town Wars, which will sell like crazy (It has a >25% attach rate on the PS3. By the time it comes out, the DS will have an installed base of about 22 million. I expect it to sell ~5 million in the Americas alone, as well as reinvigorate the hardcore market.)
The best thing about this thread is the potential games people are bringing up: They're all first parties. LBP for PSP, GT for PSP, ect. Third parties have mostly moved on, and Sony doesn't have the resources to push a ton of AAA titles for the PSP (because all their first parties studios are busy trying to make AAA titles for the PS3, which needs them more)
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
