The games that are being produced EXCLUSIVELY on today's consoles, regardless of budget and talent, still require the current gen hardware, this is common knowledge we're talking about bro. Now, do you really think that a 360 or a PS3 game such as Killzone 2 or Gears 2 could be reproduced IN THE SAME FORM on PS2 or Dreamcast? No matter the budget, talent, magic potion etc, etc... it could NOT be done. This was point from the beginning. My point was quite simple, this generation's hardware is responsible for Killzone 2, Gears 2, Mass Effect and such and such besides obviously the talent, and budget, yes those still are a part. But this was never supposed to be a debate, at least not from me, about PS3>360, or 360>PS3. You misunderstood me, which I understand that now. However, in the future just read closer to the point, my post point is simple bro, it wasn't about who's better, or whatever. I tend to not fight about that because either system, as far as I'm concerned, still can out do the other at some point. Spec wars are great, but don't usually end well. Hopefully this clears up any further complications.

Of course ps2/dreamcast couldn't do UE3 games. But there's a difference between higher ceilings availabe through hardware and the kind of visual boon that comes with great devlopment craft.

Yeah, spec wars never end well. I loathe how they've become a common topic these days.

@non sequor: your last line there is really good. I wish could put things forward in such a way.
