Seriously starcraft is the best RTS ever made and the definition of the genre. I can fire it up right now and play for 10 hours.

AOE and other ensemble games never had that spark.

i respectfully think you're nuts.

to me the worst part of AOE was the length, it just dragged, destroying buildings took ages.

starcraft was so accellerated yet still patient, that ultimate mix of brains and speed, like street fighter 2.

warcraft 3 was not good yes.

im just talking starcraft here, the purest online joy on pc.

Warcraft 3 was far better than SC, you both are crazy. Also Blzizard >>>> Ensemble RTS games. Comapring ANY rts to Starcraft 2 is just srupid. It's liek comparing MMORPGs to WoW..... just auto fail.

 

 

its prolly that i hated the fantasy setting.

tho i loved warcraft two cus it sounded so crazy when a bunch of guys were chopping down trees all out of sync to each other.
