Dreamcast had analogue triggers? N64 had a Z trigger again an improvement of what is there.
Power Pad and Power Glove? Not made by Nintendo and not copied as standard now are they..
Also rumble in the N64 is standard now also
And don't talk about PC gaming here, this is console controller progressing and how the other companies like to incorporate Nintendo's control ideas into their own and then expand upon them (i don't see that as bad but its the facts)
Now they've gone one handed, or split, each hand having a motion sensor, IR pointer capabilities, on board memory for taking settings with you, a speaker and an expansion port, just as the N64 had an expansion port
