I'm pretty sure Gears 3 will be out on the 360.
Robbie Bach said theres no plans for the 720 atm, and it took two years for Gears 2 to come out after Gears 1. Given that fact we should see Gears 3 by December 2010, and the 360 will still be alive by then.
Another Halo will probably be released, but It looks like MS will have to rely on "timed exclusives" for big names, or throw out new IPs.
It's just that simple.
